Going the extra mile to recognise and reward your employees

If there’s one thing we’ve all really missed over the last 12 months, it’s been the opportunity to travel, to visit new places and experience new things. And we certainly can’t wait to get back out there and discover more of the world.

Travel has a universal appeal. And for that reason, it can be an incredibly powerful way to motivate and reward teams. Let’s face it, we all love to explore new places, so a reward as exciting as travel can really help focus the mind and inspire people to do their very best.

Whilst we’ve all adapted well to our change in circumstance, with home offices set up and online meeting facilities like Microsoft Teams, Skype and Zoom mastered, working in isolation at home, I realised the importance of face-to-face interaction with my wonderful team, suppliers and clients.

Long service, high-performing individuals or teams, team building, networking, there are a whole host of reasons for incentive travel. And as a team, we’ve found we’re being increasingly asked by our clients about it. That’s why we decided to add another string to our bow and look at how we could use our travel and events skills and experience to offer bespoke reward and recognition incentive travel packages.

We’re really pleased to introduce ‘The Four Corners’ programme with our travel partner, Eton Travel.

But isn’t it expensive?

Incentive travel doesn’t need to be expensive; it can be tailored to individual budgets. From a one night break in the UK, a long weekend in Europe to travel further afield. And done properly, it can be a shrewd investment, helping to increase motivation, inspire people to do their best, increase individual performance and reward employees across the company.

What’s more, it’s a great selling point for an organisation, helping you to attract and retain the very best people. And we all know our people are our greatest asset.

"Drawing upon our vast personal experience and extensive worldwide contacts, we create a trip that is truly unforgettable.”

Bespoke incentive travel

Managing an incentive travel programme takes time and knowledge. Organising flights, transfers, hotels, restaurants, excursions and activities is time-consuming, and you want to make sure every last detail is covered, and the safety and wellbeing of your guests is assured.

One size most definitely doesn’t fit all when it comes to incentive travel programmes. So, our service is designed to provide tailored solutions for our clients that suit their unique needs and that meet their objectives.

It couldn’t be simpler. Our clients just need to tell us who their winning employees are, and we do the rest.

Turning the dream into reality

The most effective reward programmes are tangible. So, our first step is to send a personalised voucher to each winner so they can start day-dreaming about where in the world they might like to visit and what places they could cross off their bucket list. Then, working with Eton Travel, we build a profile of each employee’s likes and dislikes. Once we know what they’re looking for, we can put together a travel package that really delivers, offering everything from adventure, excitement and relaxation - or a combination of them all. Drawing upon our vast personal experience and extensive worldwide contacts, we create a trip that is truly unforgettable.

We know that people value memorable experiences far higher than material things and that’s most definitely what incentive travel can deliver. Whilst cash bonuses are always welcome, it’s all too easy to spend them on bills or mundane household items. Travel, on the other hand, is always a fun treat, and helps ensure people feel happier and more appreciated afterwards.

Whether it’s for a group or individual, our incentive travel programme offers outstanding value on a wide selection of package and tailor-made holidays to destinations throughout the world. Importantly given the current climate, our programme provides booking flexibility. The vouchers allow the winner to book a trip on dates convenient to them.

We’d love to tell you more about our bespoke incentive travel programmes, so please do get in touch with one of the team.
