Celebrating 10 years of Zanna Events at Coworth Park Hotel
Our first client event of the year was a really special occasion as it also coincided with the 10th anniversary of Zanna Events. Such an occasion most definitely called for an extra special location and the 5* Coworth Park Hotel in Ascot certainly did not disappoint!
Set in 240 acres of picturesque parkland, it’s easy to see why the Coworth Park Hotel is a favourite with celebs and royalty alike. Part of the exclusive Dorchester Collection – nine extraordinary hotels in nine iconic locations – Coworth Park is a luxurious English country-house style hotel providing a welcoming oasis of calm. It’s also the only hotel in the UK to boast two professional polo fields and an equestrian centr!
We were joined at Coworth Park by five clients and their guests. On arrival, we were met by the friendly and helpful concierge team, who took our luggage from us and parked our cars. Our hosts were the wonderful Paul Fitzsimmons, Sales Manager, and Chanelle Gale, Regional Sales Manager at Coworth Park.
We were shown to our luxury bedrooms in the mansion house, all with amazing views across the parkland. Every little detail here has been really thought about so as to provide guests with a truly remarkable experience, from the large beds with soft linen, to the fluffy white towels and cosy robes. An incredible roll-top copper bath in the en suite is a real treat. And we were all provided with a complimentary bottle of Veuve Clicquot and hand-made chocolates.
Our evening began with pre-dinner drinks in the Drawing Room, a warm and welcoming space with cosy armchairs and deep sofas, perfect for whiling away the hours in front of the fire on a cold winter’s day.
We then enjoyed a sumptuous three-course dinner in a private area of the Restaurant Coworth Park. A two-time Michelin star of excellence winner and recipient of four AA Rosettes, its executive chef, Adam Smith, is renowned for creating modern takes on classic British dishes and our meal was absolutely delicious.
The icing on the cake – excuse the pun – was the wonderful surprise 10th anniversary cake presented to the Zanna Events team by the hotel.
After dinner, we headed back to the Drawing Room where a pianist was playing, and we settled down to enjoy sampling a few cocktails.

There’s a range of rooms and suites both in the mansion house and in the converted stables, as well as a private retreat, The Dower House, which most famously hosted Princes William and Harry the night before Harry’s wedding at nearby Windsor Castle. A grade II listed building, the Dower House is set amongst idyllic private gardens, with three en suite bedrooms and a fully fitted kitchen, complete with own personal chef on request!
The hotel also boasts a variety of meeting rooms and spaces suitable for private parties, corporate and family events, from small intimate gatherings to large meetings, seminars, conferences or dinners. Each space is full of character and charm and enjoys spectacular views across the parklands.
There’s a spa, with indoor pool, private sun terrace, gym, steam room and 8 luxurious treatments rooms, offering the perfect place to relax and unwind. For the more energetic amongst us, there are plenty of activities, from walking and jogging trails, to laser clay pigeon shooting, mountain biking, tennis and croquet on the upper lawn.
A highlight of the tour was our visit to the equestrian centre, where manager, Gemma, introduced us to some of the horses and we learned more about the centre’s equestrian offering and polo facilities. Everyone is welcome here, from beginners looking to take a leisurely hack around the grounds, to seasoned riders wanting to head off for a canter or try their hand at dressage. And as the only UK hotel with two professional polo fields, there’s also a unique opportunity to enjoy this quintessentially English sport, with fixtures throughout the summer social season.
