If you look in the Dictionary the definition of the word ‘Networking’ you will find ‘interact with others to exchange information and develop profession’ and that is exactly what M&I Forums organises.
M&I invited me to join their UK Roadshow that they had planned during a week in September. I could choose from a section of locations within the UK and due to our client’s requirements I decided to opt for the Tylney Hall Hotel in Hampshire.
I had 2 fantastic days within a corporate but relaxed and inviting environment where I had chance to meet different suppliers from all over the world.
After checking into one of the hotel’s large function rooms we had a warm welcome from the M&I organiser and the Tylney Hall events team who had planned a really funny show-round the hotel for us.
We saw what the hotel has to offer to our clients and it can cater for all kinds of events including incentive, meetings, gala dinners and much more.
That evening we enjoyed a fantastic dinner. The food was amazing and again it was a great moment to chat with the rest of attendees as well as the suppliers.
Next morning, after having a delicious breakfast we started our networking meetings. Something similar to ‘speed dating’ where our meetings were schedule by the organisers, giving us 12 minutes with each supplier. You might think that 12 minutes is not enough time to introduce the venue they represent but actually it is a really productive time. I had time to explain to each one what kind of events we do so they were able to explain to me what they have to offer to our clients.
It was a really good event where in just two days I had the chance to meet with more than 20 venues, National and International hence our portfolio is every day growing.
Do not hesitate to contact the team at Zanna Events if you are looking for the best venues for your next event.
